Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities Installation and calibration of instruments Installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment Interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams Read and examine engineering drawings Perform predictive and preventive maintenance including function checks of control loops. Install and maintain plant lighting infrastructure Replace and align electric motors Installation and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Systems Knowledge of National Electric Code and Lanxess procedures to ensure right-first-time installation and repairs Recommend process improvements to increase safety, reduce environmental issues, and increase equipment OEE Qualifications Technical certificate, associate degree, or 3-5 years experience 3-5 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in English language Basic math skills Mechanical ability Location El Dorado South Employee Type Regular About the Company LANXESS is a leading specialty chemicals company with about 12,000 employees in 32 countries.
