Healthcare Equity Sales Associate

Needham & Company, a full-service investment bank, has a position available for an Institutional Equity Healthcare Sales Associate in its New York office. Responsibilities Depending on previous experience, a great opportunity working with senior members of the sales force to help lead the healthcare equity research sales business by managing a diverse number of responsibilities including but not limited to developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, prospecting new account coverage, heavy involvement in coordinating of roadshows, conferences, client entertainment (lunches/ dinners/events), organizing marketing meetings and analysts calls, providing overall healthcare market intelligence and investor feedback, and other general support of tasks and duties as required. Key Qualifications / Requirements Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience, with direct sell-side experience in the financial services industry OR experience in Healthcare Equity Research, Investor Relations, Pharmaceutical Sales, Corporate/Business Development, or other similarly related position. Healthcare Industry knowledge in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Therapeutics or Medical/Digital Health Technology required Undergraduate degree in either Finance or Science preferred Licensing & Certification: Possession or ability to obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 licenses. Market Passion: A genuine and passionate interest in healthcare equity markets required. The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $120,000-$150,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, license registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
