TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 years of experience required. Must have at least 1 year of level 1 trauma facility experience or 2 years of level 2 trauma facility experience. Must have pediatric experience but it does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric emergency room. License: Pending licenses accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required. Can submit with TNCC pending but must have before starting. Must-Have: Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Nights 36 or 48 hours available. Guaranteed hours cannot be assured. Weekend coverage is true, and scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs. The maximum approved time off is 40 hours. Description: This position is primarily for emergency room nursing. The emergency department handles a daily census of approximately 165 patients. There are 71 rooms and beds available in the unit. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. Patient age groups treated in the emergency department include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Common patient diagnoses include level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke, and chest pain. Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed. This position requires experience with patient ratios of 4/5 during the day, night, and weekends. Please note that block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
