CT Tech - Night Shift (4x10-Hour)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a large hospital environment and be proficient with Siemens imaging equipment. This is a 13-week contract position primarily focused on routine ED patients, trauma cases, and Code Stroke protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various patient diagnoses including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal.
• Efficiently manage a daily caseload of 150-200 scans.
• Maintain safety standards and protocols during imaging procedures.
• Document procedures accurately using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with emergency department staff to provide timely imaging for critical diagnoses.

Schedule

This position is for night shifts, working 4x10 hour blocks from 21:00 to 07:00, Monday through Thursday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, with preference for more.
• Previous experience in a facility with over 500 beds is mandatory.
• CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) are required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is a must; familiarity with GE scanners is a plus.
