Senior Systems Test Engineer

The Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist is responsible for leading quality assurance efforts, including developing test plans, executing test scripts, managing defect tracking, and facilitating user acceptance testing. This role requires extensive experience in defect management, collaboration with project teams, and technical proficiency in various web and software technologies to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test data.
• Document software defects and track their resolution using collaborative tools.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.
• Communicate defect status and change requests to all project participants.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to ensure effective defect resolution and change management.
• Utilize automated test tools and version control systems across multiple platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Manage and track issues using systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Asana.

• 7+ years of experience in defect tracking and quality assurance.
• Proven ability to develop test plans, scripts, and test data.
• Experience leading User Acceptance Testing sessions.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and version control systems.
• Strong understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
• Experience using defect and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, or Asana.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
