Travel Physical Therapist - $1,957 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate placement in Dahlonega, GA. The role is a 13‑week assignment at 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting, following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations as well as state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate it into patient care. Evaluate and create plans of care, and modify them as indicated based on patient condition. Use the Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience; 1 year required for most candidates. New graduates are encouraged to apply. BLS certification. State‑specific PT licensing. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
