Senior Tax Advisor (Client‑Facing Advisory Role) Virjee Consulting, PLLC — Houston, TX (Hybrid). Full‑time. Remote candidates are not considered at this time. The Role We’re hiring a Senior Tax Advisor to support and lead tax planning and advisory conversations with dental and medical practice owners nationwide. This is a client‑facing, strategy‑driven role with a structured ramp — not a high‑volume tax prep position. You’ll work alongside a strong internal team while growing into full ownership of client relationships and tax strategy. Growth & Ramp Path Year1 – Ramp & Integration

• Manage a smaller client portfolio (30–40 clients).
• Sit in on and co‑lead quarterly and annual tax planning meetings.
• Learn our advisory frameworks, planning playbooks, and communication standards.
• Build confidence delivering tax strategy and managing client relationships.

Year2 – Lead Advisor

• Lead tax planning meetings independently.
• Manage a larger book of business (50–70 clients).
• Own proactive tax strategy and advisory outcomes.
• Mentor junior advisors and contribute to team development.

What You’ll Do Participate in and lead tax planning meetings with business owners. Serve as a trusted tax advisor to dental and medical practices. Translate complex tax strategies into clear, actionable guidance. Review tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065) prepared by associates. Partner with accounting and bookkeeping teams to ensure accurate execution. Identify proactive planning opportunities (entity structure, owner compensation, real estate coordination, retirement planning, etc.). Who We’re Looking For 4–8+ years of public accounting experience (tax‑focused). Strong experience with S‑Corps and partnerships. CPA or EA preferred but not required. Confident, polished communicator who enjoys client‑facing work. Ability to manage relationships and prioritize effectively. Strategic mindset beyond compliance‑only tax work.
