Dunn’s Therapies is seeking Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS)/ Therapeutic Recreation Specialist/Texas Certified (TRS/TXC) or individuals eligible for certification to provide individualized, client-centered therapy services in home and community-based settings across the Houston metro area.
This role offers a flexible, autonomy-driven alternative to traditional hospital or facility-based positions, allowing you to focus on meaningful, one-on-one care while maintaining control over your schedule.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based recreation therapy interventions
- Collaborate with families and care teams to support client outcomes
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist/Texas Certified (TRS/TXC)
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or related field
- Experience with special needs or behavioral health populations preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Professional liability insurance
- Reliable transportation
