Support Analyst

Department Department Name: 8621 IT Clinical Applica Shift: Day Position Status: Full Time Position Description The Support Analyst is responsible for Tier 2 support for AUHS end users. Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves incidents that cannot be managed by the Tier 1 team. Assess the severity of the problem, resolves Tier 2 incidents leveraging knowledge bases as appropriate. Also assigns and escalates complex incidents and service requests to the appropriate teams. Creates detailed incident documentation. Position Requirements Vocational or technical training or degree in Information Technology or related field and 2 years or more of experience in Help Desk or Tier 2 Support, experience supporting a Healthcare environment. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Critical Thinking skills. Strong Customer Service Skills. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Ability to quickly collate information and provide assistance. Preferred Requirements Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field. 4 years or more of experience in Help Desk or Tier 2 Support, experience supporting a Healthcare environment. Service Now experience. Cerner, GE, Allscript, or 3M applications experience. ITIL Certified.
