Occupational Therapist

Evaluates and treats all referred occupational therapy patients according to physician's orders. Consistently performs initial patient evaluations including administering appropriate tests and measures. Identifies impairments and functional limitations. Establishes the initial plan of treatment in conjunction with the patient or caregiver. Promptly selects and administers treatment strategies based on current physician orders and established treatment plans. Correctly and consistently identifies functional improvement and goal attainment on a regular basis. Updates treatment plans and goals as per department standards. Completes documentation following department standards and timeframes. Documentation reflects skilled intervention and supports therapeutic interventions as reasonable and necessary. Continually works to achieve productivity per department standards. Takes initiative to use non-productive time to benefit the department as a whole. Consistently complies with applicable rules and regulations. Demonstrates compliance with documentation and adheres to National Patient Safety Standards. Utilizes resources responsibly for each patient. Actively participates in department performance improvement activities.

Minimum two (2) years of occupational therapy experience preferred. Wisconsin state license as an Occupational Therapist within three (3) months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) within thirty (30) days of hire.
