The role includes serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students, educating patients, families, and healthcare providers, and adjusting treatments based on patient responses. Responsibilities Execute treatment plans using functional activities, considering patients' emotional and functional needs. Utilize standardized outcome measures to reflect functional performance accurately. Complete documentation per organizational and regulatory standards. Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team, providing education and training as necessary. Communicate patient status, performance, and treatment adjustments with supervising therapists and the medical team. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance. Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Illinois. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Completion of continuing education related to acute stroke care and joint replacement standards. Strong communication, documentation, and clinical collaboration skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
