The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle, high-volume recruiting across multiple states and regions in a fast-paced HVAC environment. This role is responsible for driving hiring strategies that support aggressive growth targets, with a focus on attracting skilled trades talent including HVAC technicians, installers, plumbers, service managers, and support staff. This will be a primarily office-based role with standard business hours. With years of operating experience within the industry, Northwinds understands its unique importance and complexities, and we're committed to helping businesses reach their full potential.Responsibilities:Serve as the subject matter expert in all areas of recruitment, candidate assessment, and onboarding (full cycle) across multiple locations to ensure compliance with local employment lawsStrategize and work with the Human Resources Team to develop efficient and effective onboarding processesDevelop relationships and processes to fill high-volume positions and applicant pipeline through collaboration with multiple stakeholdersDevelop proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill skilled trades roles (HVAC technicians, installers, plumbers etc) utilizing job boards, social media, referrals, trade schools, and industry networksDrive efficient interview processes and ensure a strong candidate experienceAssist with the onboarding of newly acquired companies to include development communications with working employees to ensure all accurate information is loaded into ADP ComprehensiveOptimize workflows to reduce time-to-fill and cost per hireLeverage ATS and recruiting tools to track and manage candidate pipelinesStakeholder and Hiring Manager partnershipProvide regular updates on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and any recruiting/onboarding challengesPromote the company as an employer of choice in the skilled trades marketJob Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on high-volume hiringProven experience recruiting across multiple states and regionsStrong working experience with ADP Comprehensive or similar ATS/HRIS systemsExperience hiring for skilled trades or HVAC-related roles strongly preferredCompetencies:Ability to manage a large requisition load (15-25+ open roles at a time)Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruiting tools (ATS, job boards, LinkedIn)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentExperience in HVAC, construction, field services, or similar industries preferredFamiliarity with compliance considerations across multiple states preferredThe starting salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position.
