Summary The Sanitation Technician is responsible for safe operations, ensuring all areas of production are cleaned frequently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assure that SOPs are followed and performed in accordance with GMP. Foster a team environment by promoting teamwork atmosphere with all employees. Maintain a clean environment such as walls, sinks, and floors, restrooms, and perform duty as assigned in the facility. Clean and prepare all cleaning equipment/accessories following established procedures. Clean plastic curtains located in designated areas. Adhere to gowning procedures. Operate the Zamboni in a safe manner. Adherence to HACCP and Food Defense. Qualifications Experience in the food industry, preferred. Education/Experience Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
