Job Title Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Temp-to-Hire) Location Kent, WA Pay $23.50 per hour Job Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Kent, WA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent placement after 3 months for strong performers if you have forklift experience and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Monday-Friday Start times: 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM Full-time (40 hours/week) Overtime required as needed Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklift (Toyota/Mitsubishi) safely and efficiently Load and unload freight directly from delivery docks Scan incoming and outgoing shipments using RF scanners Read and interpret billing manifests and shipping documents Accurately record product weights, measurements, and other details by hand Perform general warehouse duties, including physical material handling Qualifications 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience required Experience with freight loading/unloading preferred Familiarity with RF scanners and shipping manifests Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear and legible handwriting skills Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Dress Code Long jeans required Steel-toe footwear required No sweatpants What We're Looking For We're looking for dependable candidates who combine forklift expertise with attention to detail.
