Job Information Requisition ID: 451388 Work Area: Customer Service and Support Expected Travel: 0 - 20% Career Status: Professional Employment Type: Regular Full Time Career Level: T4PF-2 Original Posting Date: 04/06/26 Job Title: Services Architecture Expert Location: Plano, TX Work Model: Hybrid work model Purpose and Objective SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Architecture Expert at our Plano, TX location to act as a Customer Advisor on IT-Services by providing holistic advice and guidance focusing either on an application/solution, an industry, or technology. Expectations and Tasks Assess the as-is situation as well as the business goals of the customer and provide a structured path towards an integrated IT-Landscape as well as the relevant operational approach required for the implementation. Validate and optimize the approach for maximum customer success. Translate the desired IT end-state scenario of the customer into actionable project steps for the implementation work. Maintain key relationships with Business Leaders (including but not limited to Chief Information Officer) in the customer in order to jointly design the IT end-state and required Services / Solutions to be implemented. Coordinate with the different Services roles within the company including Consultants and Project Managers as well as Development and Sales organization where appropriate the delivery of the resources to implement the customer's road-maps. Clarify existing expectations from various stakeholders with the customer, especially in very difficult cases; creates a path to solution which integrates diverse points of views and which serves as a starting point for future business. Collaborate with customer and SAP team for the best possible implementation. Drive knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers. Document successful approaches and tools and make them available to colleagues at SAP. Collaborate and co-innovate with the respective development teams. Education and Occupational Experience Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Project or Business Management, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Project or Business Management, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following: Delivering enterprise business transformation projects and aligning customer priorities with target architecture and roadmap. SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star). Business Technology Platform components including application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI and practical experience with S/4HANA applications. Customer communication, influencing, and negotiation skills at senior management and C-levels, both within an IT team and across business functions. Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following: Cloud and Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM. SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes. Travel Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various unanticipated client sites to provide strategic Enterprise Architecture advisory and implement procured solutions. Compensation Range Transparency The annual base salary range for this position is $141,336 - $206,640. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $258,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
