Position Overview

Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting which may include both clinical and front desk duties.

 

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant or LPN - and/or two years experience in a clinical setting
• Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
• Administering Medication
• Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
• Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
• Computer proficient

 

Location and Hours of Position

Rochester Health Center Adult Behavioral Health, 176 Virginia Ave, Rochester PA 15074

The general office hours for this position are:

• Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

NO WEEKENDS

 

Compensation

Position starts at $18.00 per hour for a Medical Office Assistant, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.
