- **Job Responsibilities**Under the direction of the organization's Vice President Casino Player Development, the **Vice President of Player Development** is responsible for effectively marketing, evaluating, recruiting, establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with new players while working part time on property and part time remotely for numerous markets being targeted. Knows and ensures adherence to department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations. This position is eligible for an incentive program determined by management. The casino gaming sales force will be measured and evaluated on their contribution of the financial growth, specifically revenue gained through relationship marketing of their VIP players. **Essential Duties/Core Competencies*** Brings in and maintains new premium players to the property.* Ensures the highest level of Customer Service is given to guests at all times.* Sells and promotes property using pertinent and appropriate offers, property amenities, special events and promotions that drive property visits.* Increases player core revenue by personal networking in all targeted markets and telemarketing.* Achieves personal and department goals as determined by management.* Regularly reviews activity reports sent from the property and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.* Maintains a high profile at VIP events, constant presence to all players at appropriate times.* Resolves problems, questions, or concerns from VIP guests.* Work with internal departments to maximize guest satisfaction of VIP guests while meeting property goals.* Work with other marketing departments to ensure proper reinvestment in VIP guests, including comping and gifting of VIP players.* Ensure the safety, security, and confidentiality of VIP players as well as other guest and employees.* May represent the Company, including spokesperson at events or promotions, entertainment and Company sponsored events both on and off property.* Calls in to all necessary meetings.* Performs other tasks as assigned.* Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive* Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the local, regional and national marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company's success.* Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on customer relations.* Demonstrates the courage, creativeness, and initiative to present new ideas and perspectives to create positive results* Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others* Puts the guest at the forefront of every decision.**Work/Educational Experience*** Must be 18 years or older and be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules, and regulations.* BA/BS in marketing or a related field preferred.* Nine (9) years' experience in a player development capacity in a large-scale gaming operation with both Slot and Table games offerings with seven (7) years in a management capacity.**Essential Requirements**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily. The Team Member is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Team Member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds, and prolonged sitting during the shift.*Language Skills:*Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.*Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:*Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.**Work Environment**The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that exists while employees are performing the essential functions of this job. When on the property or some back of house areas, the noise level increases to loud.
