Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure efficient daily functioning and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws. Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary. Manage store opening and closing procedures, including personally opening and closing the store multiple times weekly. Analyze operating statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage. Oversee inventory management, ordering, merchandise presentation, and stock replenishment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, ensuring security and proper equipment availability. Deliver excellent customer service and enforce safety, conduct, and operational policies. Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and handle cash procedures. Experience in recruiting, coaching, and enforcing compliance with policies and procedures. Ability to solve problems and adapt to varied situations; bilingual skills may be preferred. Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is advantageous. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and operating equipment in a fast-paced environment.
