As our **Packaging Specialist**, you'll bring one of our categories to life through innovative, premium and sustainable packaging solutions that delight customers while meeting the highest technical and regulatory standards.Working closely with our Senior Product Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll lead end-to-end packaging development from concept through to production, partnering with suppliers across the globe to deliver beautiful, functional packaging that reflects our brands and supports our sustainability commitments.**The Role You Could Play**As our Packaging Specialist, you'll own the packaging journey from initial concept through to launch.* Lead end-to-end packaging development across a portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.* Develop innovative, customer-first packaging solutions that balance design, functionality, sustainability and commercial outcomes.* Partner with Product Development, Design, Compliance, Brand, Supply Chain and external suppliers to bring new products to market.* Manage packaging testing, technical specifications, artwork approvals and regulatory compliance, including TGA requirements where applicable.* Champion sustainable packaging innovation by identifying new materials, monitoring emerging legislation and driving continuous improvement.**What You Will Bring**We're looking for someone who is passionate about packaging and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.* Experience in packaging development within beauty, FMCG or a similar industry.* Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and supplier management.* Experience managing multiple development projects with exceptional organisation and attention to detail.* Understanding of packaging testing, quality and regulatory requirements, including TGA and global compliance.* A passion for sustainable packaging, circular design and material innovation, paired with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.**Your Life At MECCA**Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team guided by our MECCA values and motivated each day to be collaborative, innovative and solutions focused.Some of our team member benefits include:* Professional development programs and first-class digital learning opportunities.* Health and wellbeing initiatives.* Reward and recognition programs.* Access to bonus and incentive programs.* Quarterly product allowance.* Generous team member discounts for you and your immediate family (subject to company policy).And that's just the beginning.
