Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. Provide evaluations and daily treatments to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in Houston, TX.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license for the State of Texas required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with occupational therapy evaluations and daily treatment interventions.
• Experience using Meditech or similar EMR preferred.
• Ability to work with common rehab equipment such as hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, rollators, NuStep, hospital beds, bed/chair alarms, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, and blood pressure machines.
• Willingness to float to acute care or outpatient areas if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1700.
• Preferred schedule: Tuesday through Saturday; may include alternating weekends.
• Patient ratios typically 4-6.
• Unit size: approximately 20 beds; interdisciplinary team including PT, ST, RNs, techs, and therapy techs.
