divh2Packager Position/h2pInnophos is seeking a Packager for our manufacturing plant located in Chicago Heights, IL. The right candidate will be responsible for the efficient operations of assigned area, including quality, safety, housekeeping, record keeping, environmental, etc./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliObserves and operates all equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans equipment, makes regular rounds, and records data on appropriate logs and sheets/liliProperly uses the JDE Enterprise 1 system to make appropriate transactions, product scans, and maintenance work orders/liliOperates the packaging systems including operating the packaging equipment, the delivery of correct bags, boxes, drums, Super Sacks, etc., to the staging areas/liliOperates the packaging stations including the packaging hopper, and delivery of correctly filled bags, sacks, etc./liliKeeps areas clean/liliAssists in training other operators/liliPerforms other work as assigned/li/ulh3Shift/h3ulliRotating Shift 1st shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd shift (10:30 pm-6:30 am) Monday - Sunday/liliInitially assigned to 1st shift for training/liliA typical 4 week schedule may be:/li/ulp3rd Shift for 7 days with 2 days off following then, 2nd Shift for 7 days with 1 day off following then, 1st Shift for 7 days with 4 days off following/pulliRequired to rotate between all 3 shifts shift premium applied on 2nd and 3rd shifts/liliAlternative work schedules may be required based on site business needs/liliEligible for overtime pay on hours worked that exceed 8/day and 40/week/liliBi-weekly paid on Fridays/li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliMedical, Dental and Vision benefits which start the 1st of the month after hire/liliAnnual incentive bonus eligibility based on individual and company performance/liliTax advantaged health savings and spending accounts/lili401k eligibility with company match and annual discretionary contribution/liliTime off: vacation, holidays/floating holidays, personal and sick days/liliCompany provided Life and Disability Insurance/liliPaid Parental Leave/liliFitness Membership Reimbursement Program/liliEducational assistance program/li/ulh3Required Education and Experience/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent/lili2 years of related production operator experience in a manufacturing setting/liliForklift experience preferred/li/ulh3Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/h3ulliMust be capable of accurately completing reports and understanding written material, and performing basic mathematics/liliDemonstrates knowledge of process flow description (PFD), key process control points, process description, rounds sheets and data sheets, analytical specifications and control thereof, all relevant job analyses, and appropriate troubleshooting/liliDemonstration of above knowledge includes written and oral testing, and actual operation of equipment, to meet minimum standards of acceptability/liliAbility to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions/li/ulh3Environmental and/or Physical Requirements/h3ulliFrequent lifting (50 lbs)/liliConstant standing, bending, operating mobile equipment (forklift)/li/ulp$31.05 - $31.05 an hour Wages start at $31.05/hour in accord with the labor contract./ppAbout Innophos/ppInnophos is a leading international producer of specialty ingredient solutions that deliver far-reaching, versatile benefits for the food, health, nutrition and industrial markets.
