HVAC Service Technician
East Coast Heating and Cooling – Rosedale, MD
Full-Time | Year-Round | $28–$40+/hr (Based on Experience)

About the Job:

East Coast Heating and Cooling is looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position with a standard schedule of 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime available as needed to complete service calls professionally and compassionately.

We are looking for a true technician — someone who enjoys diagnostics, takes pride in solving problems correctly, and values quality workmanship over high-pressure sales tactics. What You’ll Do:

· Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, mini-splits, and related equipment

· Perform preventative maintenance and system evaluations

· Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and controls-related issues

· Service light commercial equipment as needed

· Communicate clearly with customers regarding system condition and repair recommendations

· Identify systems nearing replacement and coordinate customers with the Install Manager when appropriate — without high-pressure sales expectations

· Complete accurate service documentation and maintain a professional company image in the field

· Work independently while coordinating with office staff and management throughout the day

What We’re Looking For:

· 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred

· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability

· EPA Certification required; MD Journeyman’s License preferred

· Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

· Professional, personable attitude with strong customer communication skills

· Technician-focused mindset with pride in clean, quality work

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Pay & Perks:

· $28–$40+/hour depending on experience, diagnostic ability, and work quality
