Continuous Improvement Manager

Minimum 5 Years experience in Continuous Improvement

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in West Point, GA. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in CI & Lean in an automotive environment.

Requirements of the CI Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in a CI or Quality role; 2+ years in a supervisory position
  • Experience driving change and leading CI Projects
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Statistical knowledge and experience applying a statistical approach to problem solving and process improvement
  • Green Belt certification or higher

Responsibilities of the CI Manager

  • Identify gaps in Best Practices and work at all levels of the organization to establish a strategy and plan to improve them
  • Assess current state of the plant’s operations, develop an ideal future state and develop, drive and monitor the improvement plan
  • Establish CI Profit Plan and forecast goals
  • Develop and train internal CI resources including Black Belts and Lean implementers
  • Develop a CI roadman throughout the plant, identifying low hanging fruit to long term projects
