We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for light CNC programming, troubleshooting, tooling, setups, and process improvements to ensure quality parts are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Support CNC machine setups and production issues.
• Troubleshoot machining problems and parts that are out of tolerance.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Select and troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and other machining parameters as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tooling life, quality, and overall machining efficiency.
• Support new product launches and new CNC setups.
• Work with Engineering and Maintenance to resolve equipment and machining issues.
• Train operators and team members on CNC setups and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC programming experience required.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and setups.
• Experience making CNC program modifications.
• Experience machining and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with fixtures and workholding.
• Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade-school education preferred.
