Process Chemical Engineer

Process Chemical Engineer

We are seeking a Process Chemical Engineer to support the design and implementation of complex manufacturing and facility infrastructure projects in Boise, ID. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial facilities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on process chemical, mechanical, and utility systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
3+ years of experience with process/mechanical facilities engineering, including process piping, chemical distribution, gas systems, water/wastewater systems, pumps, tanks, and related infrastructure
3+ years of engineering design/project delivery experience
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Must be local to or willing to relocate to Boise, ID
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Semiconductor industry experience
AutoCAD proficiency
EIT or PE license
Field experience supporting construction and installation projects

Key Responsibilities

Design and support process chemical and mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing facilities
Develop construction documents, equipment layouts, and utility requirements
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Support installation, commissioning, and construction activities
Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system design reviews
