Senior Technical Project ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of software development projects, requiring engagement from multiple teams. The ideal candidate will guide teams in Agile/Scrum frameworks, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations in functionality, quality, and timeline within a large-scale technology migration environment.Responsibilities:Responsible for planning, coordinating, and end-to-end management and delivery of defined deliverablesCommunicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance with standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into project healthEnsure execution and delivery meet client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and costGuide teams in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and ensure adherence to Agile principlesCoordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery, including kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, and Agile ceremoniesPlan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the Scrum teamPromote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizationsRemove impediments to the team's progress and shield the Scrum team from distractionsFoster continuous improvement by encouraging teams to adapt and improve based on feedback from retrospectivesManage project financials and ensure resources are allocated effectivelyGather and facilitate status updates for stakeholders and leadershipCollaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is clear, prioritized, and aligned with business needsCoach the team in Agile practices to encourage self-organization and empower team ownershipEnsure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standardsRequirements:7-10 years of experience in a senior-level project management roleMust have experience leading or managing software development engagementsStrong technical understandingExperience coordinating with multiple technology teams, partners, and application/API consumersStrong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and leadership skillsExperience with a similar large-scale technology migration, particularly within a financial institution, is highly valuableDesired skills:Prior experience in WebMethods or Spring Boot transformationPay range: $50.39 - $58.39 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
