Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care during one of the most critical phases of maternity services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care needs.
• Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards, including certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license required at the time of submission with license verification included.
• Minimum of 2 years of other relevant clinical experience, preferably in labor and delivery settings.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner EMR system and obstetric clinical skills.
• Ability to float within hospital units and outpatient clinics as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
