Responsibilities:

• Assist dermatologists with clinical procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments
• Prepare and room patients, document medical histories, and record vital signs
• Set up and maintain sterile fields and procedure trays for dermatological treatments
• Educate patients on post-procedure care, skincare regimens, and treatment plans
• Manage and accurately update patient records using EMR/EHR systems
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and coordination with pathology labs
• Support front and back office operations to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on dermatology medical assisting experience required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Familiarity with dermatology procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and cosmetic injections
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and patient documentation
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
