Project Manager

Location – Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX My client is a highly respected engineering consultancy delivering innovative MEP solutions across commercial, institutional, healthcare, and public-sector projects throughout Texas. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Licensed Electrical P.E. to take ownership of electrical design and project delivery within a collaborative, engineer-led environment. This position is ideal for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys leading projects while remaining technically hands‑on, offering strong autonomy, client visibility, and long‑term career stability without moving away from engineering. You’ll play a key role in shaping electrical system designs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through construction. The Electrical Project Manager will have the following attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas Experience delivering electrical design within MEP or building systems environments Strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes Experience producing and reviewing construction documents Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects Comfortable interacting directly with clients and project stakeholders Construction administration or commissioning experience is a plus The Electrical Project Manager's role will involve: Leading electrical system design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects Managing electrical project scope, schedules, and technical deliverables Developing drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations Coordinating designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams Acting as the primary electrical contact for clients and contractors Supporting projects through construction, including site visits and technical reviews Mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development Contributing to project pursuits and proposal development as needed For more information about this Electrical Project Manager opportunity, please apply or contact Jack Smillie for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
