QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 3rd shift.

Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation

- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment

- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment

- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software

- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits

- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss

- Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies

- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards

Material Handler Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred

- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems

- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

- Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment

- Preferred familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

- Preferred strong communication and teamwork skills
