Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,436 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Clackamas, Oregon. 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Overview We are looking for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Clackamas, OR. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assisting patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluating and developing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply. Prefer 1 year of experience; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates. BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
