Production Control Specialist

We are seeking a hands-on Production Control Specialist to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound and outbound logistics and support warehouse team members through the day-to-day tasks.
• Ensure accurate inventory, cycle counts, and material flow.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong customer service and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving, Microsoft Excel, and warehouse management.
• Experience with freight, inventory control, and dispatch.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 12 years of experience in logistics, production, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office/manufacturing setting with one shift available (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
