About the Position

Job Title: MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of travel experience preferred License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Med/Surg experience required Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: This position requires the ability to work in a Med/Surg and Telemetry setting. Shifts are scheduled for four 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios are typically between 1:6 to 1:7. Every other weekend coverage is required. Floating to like units is necessary to meet facility needs, including similar patient populations. Candidates must complete all assigned modules prior to the start date. Attendance at required staff meetings is expected. No on-call shifts are needed for this position. The facility permits the cancellation of one shift every two weeks. If a candidate has two call outs without documented medical reasons, the contract may be canceled. This role supports an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Candidates will be involved in patient care for adults and geriatric populations. Daily census is approximately 11 patients with a total of 12 beds in the unit. Candidates must be prepared for potential emergency response duties during hurricane season. All necessary certifications and licenses must be in hand before the start date.
