Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Job Description The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level IV NICU experience to provide care to a high volume of acute and intubated neonates. The nurse will be involved in managing complex medical conditions, providing support for neonates with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological issues. Responsibilities Administer medications and provide nursing care for critically ill neonates. Monitor and assess patient status, maintaining a focus on critical and high-acuity cases. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Utilize specialized equipment such as Servo ventilators, Nitric Oxide, and Giraffe beds. Provide support for families during their child’s critical care journey. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current OH or Compact RN License. BLS Certification required. Minimum of 2 years of Level IV NICU experience. Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care is mandatory. Pediatric nursing experience is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
