Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing care to patients in acute care and telemetry monitored floors. This position involves a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities for both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort within the acute care environment.
• May work as a sitter to provide additional support and supervision for patients as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred in an acute care setting.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
