About this role As a General Surgeon at Sevier Valley Hospital, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will provide broad general surgery care in a community‑based setting with a mix of clinic, operative cases, endoscopy, inpatient care, and call responsibilities. You may also provide coverage at Delta Community Hospital and Fillmore Community Hospital as part of the broader service area. You will be well suited if you enjoy rural/community medicine, value team‑based care, and are excited to help expand access to general surgery services in Central Utah. Practice at Sevier Valley Hospital and Sevier Valley Specialty Clinic Clinic schedule Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑4:00 pm Typical week includes 1.5 days endoscopy, one full day in the OR, and variable clinic time. Call coverage is shared among the group and is expected to evolve as the practice grows May provide coverage at Delta Community Hospital and Fillmore Community Hospital as part of the broader service area. What you’ll bring MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS, ACLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process Location & Working Hours Intermountain Health Sevier Valley Hospital – Richfield, Utah.
