Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssociate Corp CounselJob Summary: The Associate Corporate Counsel is responsible for working on a variety of legal matters such as contracts (customer, service-related and vendor), litigation coordination/support, corporate governance, as well as regulatory analysis and compliance, including but not limited to: data privacy, cyber security, labor and employment.

Working closely with senior members of the U.S.

legal team, the associate counsel will assess risk and provide timely legal advice to appropriate U.S.

business units, Company management, and other departments of the Company as necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works with business teams and supervising attorney on contract drafting, review, and negotiationSupports compliance endeavors and litigation mattersAssist with various projects and initiatives, as needed and assignedJob Skills & Abilities:Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Effective communicator, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers, and colleaguesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailStrong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at once and balance competing demandsGood judgment, a high level of professional integrityStrong research skillsAbility to work independentlyEducation and Experience:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law college or universityExperience in a corporate setting and/or a B to B environment either through internships(s) and/or employment is a plusPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Able to travel as needed.Must be able to access and navigate each department at organizations' facilities.Disclaimer: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
