Bartender (Seasonal)

Small Cheval- Wrigleyville, a part of Hogsalt, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Seasonal Bartender to join our team for the upcoming Cubs baseball season! Experience & Qualifications: 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude. Strong food and beverage knowledge with the desire to continually learn more. Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs, and stooping. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties. Provide consistent, genuine, and generous service to all guests, creating personal connections whenever possible. Prepare all cocktails according to the Hogsalt Beverage Index; pour wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Hogsalt standards. Guide guests through the menu and overall dining experience, providing thoughtful recommendations of food and beverage items. Properly course all food items and ensure satisfaction of each item/course. Work with other bartenders, FOH staff, and leadership to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Address any guest needs or concerns as soon as possible; communicate any complaints or issues with food or service to leadership. Observe all safety procedures, including following Hogsalt protocol for food allergies and dietary restrictions. Ensure proper payment is collected for each guest. Complete all closing duties including a financial checkout, closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership. Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service not listed above are properly executed. Small Cheval is a Chicagoland original.
