Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in emergency situations, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention. Collaborate with healthcare teams to stabilize patients and deliver high-quality emergency services.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions promptly to determine urgency and needs.
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
Monitor vital signs and observe patient responses continuously.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families.
Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Proven experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
Knowledge of emergency care procedures, protocols, and medical equipment.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
