Location: Monroe, LA
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training in Drafting, CAD Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks required
- Experience creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, templates, and design standards
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or related industries preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities
- Create, revise, and finalize detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Interpret engineering sketches and convert them into accurate CAD drawings
- Develop templates and technical documentation to support production requirements
- Ensure drawings meet design standards, specifications, and quality expectations
- Maintain organized project files and revision documentation
- Perform drawing reviews and quality checks to identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers to support project success
- Assist in resolving design and drafting issues as they arise
- Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods
- Frequent use of CAD software and technical documentation systems
- Strong visual attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
