Now Hiring: General Machinist II (2 Openings)

Schedule: Monday– Friday | 6: 00 a.M. – 2: 30 p.M.
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)

We are currently seeking experienced General Machinist II candidates for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong lathe experience and the ability to edit and write simple CNC programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, charts, and tables
Work to precise dimensions and tolerances provided on blueprints
Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools
Edit CNC programs and write simple programs as needed
Monitor machine speed and feed rates during machining process
Perform machining operations primarily on CNC lathes
Ensure quality standards and production requirements are met

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating CNC lathes (required)
Experience with FANUC and HAAS controls (preferred)
Ability to edit programs and create simple programs
Strong blueprint reading skills
Understanding of machining tolerances and precision measurements
Mills experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
