Principal Product Manager - PLM / Product Strategy

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant / Product Management Advisor with a strong background in Product Management, Portfolio Strategy, Product Roadmap Development, and PLM Product Platform Management.

The ideal candidate will help establish and drive a product-centric approach to portfolio management, connect business strategy with product vision and roadmaps, conduct market-fit analysis, and provide strategic guidance to business and technology stakeholders.

The candidate must be highly effective at working with senior stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams, and translating business objectives into actionable product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product-centric portfolio management practices across the engagement.
• Translate business strategy and organizational objectives into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap to business and technology stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive analysis, and market-fit assessments to identify product opportunities.
• Advise stakeholders on product management best practices, governance, and operating models.
• Partner with business, technology, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product priorities.
• Influence senior stakeholders and facilitate alignment across business and technology organizations.
• Manage product portfolio priorities based on business value, customer needs, market opportunities, and organizational strategy.
• Establish and improve product management processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor product performance, market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to support strategic decisions.
• Use product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, and similar platforms to manage product backlogs, roadmaps, priorities, and planning.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions and present product strategy, recommendations, and roadmap decisions clearly.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the product portfolio and recommend appropriate actions.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Strategy.
• Strong experience in portfolio strategy and product portfolio management.
• Proven experience developing and managing product roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of market analysis and product-market fit analysis.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on familiarity with Jira, Productboard, or similar product management platforms.
• Strong understanding of product management processes, governance, and best practices.
• Relevant professional certification is required.

• Experience with PLM / Product Lifecycle Management platforms or product-centric enterprise environments.
• Experience managing complex enterprise product portfolios.

• Experience with Agile / Scrum product development methodologies.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex product strategies to leadership.
