Schedule: Shift-based scheduling with opportunities to utilize critical care and telemetry skills in a long-term acute care setting

Highlights:

• Provide specialized care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) environment
• Utilize telemetry monitoring skills to assess cardiac rhythms and respond to patient status changes
• Work with ventilator-dependent patients and those requiring tracheostomy care
• Opportunity to apply critical thinking and leadership skills while delegating and supervising patient care delivery
• Engage in continuing education to maintain clinical competencies and professional development
• 13-week contract assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse license or current multi-state compact RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (required)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Telemetry and/or LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership abilities
• 2 to 5 years of overall nursing experience preferred
