SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Wednesday | 8:45 AM- 4:00 PM

COMPENSATION: $20.00-$ 26.00 (based on experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Vocational Job Coach to empower adult participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder in acquiring meaningful work skills, building social confidence, and developing consistent daily routines.

In this role, you will establish and maintain on-campus and community job sites, provide direct hands-on coaching, and foster positive behavioral growth using the Daily Life Therapy® framework. You will work directly alongside program participants—serving as an active role model, driver, and advocate as they work toward greater independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vocational Coaching & Site Management
• Identify, establish, and maintain quality work placements across on-campus and local community sites.
• Work directly alongside participants on-site to teach tasks, model expected behavior, and encourage active participation.
• Collaborate with the Management Team to design customized teaching materials and adaptive strategies aligned with Daily Life Therapy®.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community business partners and site managers.

• Goal Implementation & Assessment
• Assist in developing and executing Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals focused on vocational growth, social skills, and community integration.
• Provide observational insights for annual ISP evaluations and participate in annual ISP meetings with DDS case workers.

• Transportation & Site Compliance
• Transport participants safely to and from work sites using company-provided vans.
• Complete necessary medical screenings, drug testing, or additional background checks (CORI) required by specific work sites (e.g., hospital placements).

• Documentation & Communication
• Complete required daily progress reports and participant documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain regular, open communication with Program Managers, Job Coach Supervisors, Group Home Directors, and Case Managers regarding participant progress, attendance, and administrative needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; experience working with adults on the Autism Spectrum or prior Daily Life Therapy® training is preferred.
• Licensure: Valid Driver's License in good standing (required for participant transport).
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain/maintain compliance upon hire).

Qualifications

We are seeking qualified candidates to assist adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in learning/maintaining vocational and daily living skills, as well as transporting individuals to work sites within the community.

Required:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Excellent communication skills

• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
