Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant at ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC

Job Summary:

As an Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant at ACES HOME HEALTH AND REHAB CLINIC, you will work closely with our team of experienced Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care to our diverse patient population. You will assist in implementing customized treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, monitoring patient progress, and providing support and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with Physical Therapists to execute treatment plans designed to meet individual patient needs.

·      Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.

·      Monitor and record patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

·      Educate patients and their families about exercises and home care techniques to support recovery and prevent injury.

·      Assist with the setup and maintenance of treatment equipment.

·      Comply with all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

·      Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.

·      State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Maryland.

·      CPR certification.

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a rapport with patients and their families.

·      Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic approach to care.

·      Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
