Location: Rahway, NJ
Shift: PRN
Pay: $40–$45 per hour

Care Connection Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated PTA who is passionate about helping residents improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with safe and effective treatment programs based on individual resident needs.

• Provide quality therapy services while maintaining resident safety, dignity, and comfort.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly equipped therapy area.

• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards.

• Properly use PPE when required and report safety hazards or equipment concerns promptly.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.

• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license .

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
