Your expertise helps guide medication management, support clinical decision-making, and ensure every prescription is reviewed with accuracy and care.In this role, you'll contribute to work that:Helps patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journeyEnsures safe and compliant specialty pharmacy operationsSupports clinicians, providers, and care teams through clinical expertise and collaborationAdvances positive patient outcomes through thoughtful medication management and oversightEverything we do connects back to real people navigating complex healthcare journeys—and this role helps make that journey brighter.What You'll DoResponsibilities include:Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulatory requirementsEvaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe and effective specialty therapy managementProvide comprehensive patient counseling and education regarding specialty medications and treatment plansMonitor drug therapies, identify potential therapeutic issues, and recommend clinical interventions when appropriateCollaborate closely with Intake, Referral Services, Reimbursement, Managed Markets, Nursing, Clinical Services, and Pharmacy Operations teams to support seamless patient careSupport onboarding and referral processes to help patients access therapy as efficiently as possibleOversee pharmacy technician activities and documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellenceMaintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, FDA, DEA, Medicare, ACHC, URAC, OSHA, and other applicable standardsServe as a clinical escalation point for prescription, medication, and patient care concernsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, accreditation activities, and performance improvement effortsSupport training and development of pharmacy technicians, interns, and new team membersContribute to a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of PharmacyActive, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of TennesseeStrong understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operationsExperience providing exceptional service to both internal and external customersProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safetyPreferred QualificationsThree (3)+ years of experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Infusion Pharmacy, Home Infusion, Retail, Community, Mail-Order, or Hospital PharmacyThree (3)+ years of experience working collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teamsOne (1)+ year of experience supporting specialty pharmacy service operationsKnowledge of specialty therapy payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and contract obligationsCertification in Good Clinical Practices (GCP)Experience with CareTend or similar pharmacy management platformsSuccess In This Role Looks LikeDeep care about the human impact of your workClear communication and effective collaboration skillsStrong ownership and accountability for patient care and operational responsibilitiesComfort navigating a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environmentAbility to prioritize competing demands while maintaining quality and compliance standardsCommitment to continuous learning, professional development, and excellence in patient careYou don't need to check every box—we care just as much about how you show up as what's on your resume.Why LUX InfusionAt LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light—more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.Here, you'll find:Purpose-driven work with real impactA patient-first, clinician-led cultureSupportive, collaborative teammatesOpportunities to expand your clinical expertise and professional growthThe chance to help shape the future of specialty infusion careCome help us elevate infusion care—and see what's possible when care comes first.Pay Range/Rate$130,000 - $140,000 USDPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
