Project Structural Engineer, Buildings

This position is located in New York City and is part of the Buildings team, which handles new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation projects. Responsibilities Structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and other building systems. Preparation of drawings and specifications. Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions. Coordinate with staff and clients on projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s Degree considered an asset). 3-6 years of experience in residential, commercial, or institutional building projects; historic preservation experience is an asset. Proficiency with analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM) and working knowledge of REVIT. P.E. license preferred; S.E. license considered an asset. Client‑focused with commitment to integrity, innovation, and sustainability. Demonstrated collaboration in diverse and inclusive teams. Compensation: $88,000 – $104,000 annually (local market).
