Special Education Teacher – 2026/2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2026/2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and behavioral development while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and support staff.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
Provide individualized and small-group instruction in academic and functional skill areas
Modify lessons and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
Implement positive behavior support strategies and appropriate classroom interventions
Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License required
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
