The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for the position of Learning Commons Support Student (College Work Study) at the Henderson Campus. Eligible applicants must have completed the current year’s FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package. Responsibilities Greet students and assist with student sign‑in procedures Review student sign‑in sheets and provide them to Tutors/Assistants Maintain tutor rotations while working in the Learning Commons Manage student expectations and provide a welcoming environment Answer phones professionally and assist with student inquiries Respond to student questions to the best of their knowledge Enter data into computer systems Assist Administrative Assistants with departmental tasks File documents physically and electronically Clean and organize the workspace as needed Make copies and scan documents Assist with special projects during available time Qualifications Work Hours per week: up to 20.0 Hourly Rate of Pay: $14.00 Exempt: No Full‑Time Equivalent: 48.8% Preferred Qualifications Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively Strong typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Understanding of and ability to work effectively in diverse multicultural environments Required Attachments Resume/CV Proof of Student Employment Award (a copy of the award notification or a screenshot from the "View/Accept Financial Aid" screen) Posting Close Date October 2, 2026 EEO Statement The College of Southern Nevada does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any education program or activity that it operates.
